was on ---Nikiree Chihuahuas is a small hobby breeder/exhibitor of AKC Long Coat Chihuahuas.  We strive for Temperament, Health and Conformation to the AKC standard.  Our dogs are first and foremost, family companions.  We show for fun and the love of the breed.    After 22  years showing German Shepherds, I decided to downsize and boy did I ever!  I did my research and fell in love with the breed.  They are fun, feisty, loving little balls of fur.  I am having a blast showing them in the ring and having them in my life.   I have spent most of my life in the dog world.  From exhibiting and breeding, training and working as a veterinary technician.  I spent many years on the board and as secretary of my local German Shepherd club and was also on the board of the of the Heart of New England Chihuahua Club.  I look forward to the many adventures I plan to have in this breed.
